Jeremy Wong is originally from Havelock North and graduated from the University of Auckland (B.Optom) in 1992.

"I have extensive experience both in New Zealand and in the UK where I worked in London for 7 years as an Optometrist.

I bring with me a wealth of experience in fashion eyewear and the latest developments in spectacle frame, lens and contact lens technology. My speciality is Sports Specific Eyewear. Athletes be they recreational or professional and their vision is one of my passions. Having written numerous sports vision articles in magazines and been on Murray Deaker's Sports Talk a lot I'm your go to guy if you want advice on sports eyewear and sports vision correction options!

Some of our Eye Examination equipment includes the Zeiss FDT Field Analyser (top photo) for detecting diseases like glaucoma. We also have a state of the art Topcon 6.0 Megapixel Digital Retinal Camera to take high quality photos of the back of the eye (bottom photo). It's pretty amazing see the retina and inside of the back of your eye. We can use this technology to screen for diabetes, hypertension and glaucoma.
